The Lotus Hub is a specialist service for ethnically minoritized women experiencing gender-based violence within the Greater Manchester area. We support women (18+) who are at risk of or affected by gendered violence including but not limited to domestic abuse, forced marriage, honour-based abuse, female genital mutilation, and domestic servitude. We support women regardless of their immigration status and specifically provide support to women who don’t have access to public funds (NRPF). The Lotus Hub is a combination of:
Safety4Sisters aims to address the exclusion of migrant women,
particularly those with no recourse to public funds (NRPF), for the most
basic rights of safety and protection.
NESTAC is a specialist provider of Female Genital Mutilation, Forced
Marriage, Honour-Based Abuse and Domestic Servitude. NESTAC
specifically works with Black and minoritised communities, particularly
refugees and asylum seekers
Olive Pathway is a Black survivor-led organisation working with Black
and minoritized communities to combat Gender-Based Violence and
Violence Against Women & Girls.
Saheli supports women from minoritised communities who are
experiencing Domestic Abuse, Honour-Based Abuse, Forced Marriage, by
providing specialist refuge accommodation, outreach support and
group work.
Rochdale’s Women’s Welfare Association is a community organisation
that supports ethnically minoritised women who are marginalised from
accessing resources.
The Lotus Hub runs a specialist helpline for both professionals and women to contact.

If professionals want to refer women in please email or call us and we will complete the referral form with you, prior to contacting the woman.

The Lotus Hub brings together the expertise of five specialist organisations including: Safety4Sisters, NESTAC, Olive Pathway, Saheli, and Rochdale Women’s Welfare Association.
Support provided to women will include access to:
- Advocacy and advice
- One-to-one case work
- Emergency NRPF accommodation
- Counselling
- Peer and Group Therapy.
