Job Title: CYP Support Worker and Group Facilitator

Contract Type: Fixed term contract until 31st March 2025, with the possibility of extension subject to funding

Hours: Part time 35 hours per week

Salary: £23,159.25 (pro-rata of £24,482.64 FTE), rising by 4% upon successful probationary
period

Stockport Without Abuse (SWA) is a grassroots charity committed to supporting our vision of everyone having a right to live in safety, and to have a future without fear of domestic abuse. We work directly with women, men and children who have experienced or are at risk of domestic abuse.


We are looking to recruit an IDVA to join our team to provide high quality frontline support to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a proactive service to those at high-risk while meeting their identified needs.


Main purpose of the post:

Support children and their families to improve their quality of life through organising play and
afterschoolsessions, family work and direct work packagessurrounding the issues and effects
of domestic abuse.
 Liaise with schools across the borough and deliver specialist workshops in school and
community settings, and deliver training around domestic abuse to professionals.
 Support with the delivery of SWA’s prevention work in other settings across the borough.
