Contract Type: Fixed term contract until 8th April 2027


Hours: Full time 37 hours per week

Salary: £24,482 per annum with 4% rise on successful completion of probationary period

Stockport Without Abuse (SWA) is a grassroots charity committed to supporting our vision of everyone having a right to live in safety, and to have a future without fear of domestic abuse. We work directly with women, men and children who have experienced or are at risk of domestic abuse.


We are looking to recruit an IDVA to join our team to provide high quality frontline support to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a proactive service to those at high-risk while meeting their identified needs.

Main purpose of the post:

The Children and Young People’s Prevention Worker is responsible for the delivery of strength based, person-centred support package to enable children and young people to find their own solutions and make positive changes to their lives. The role will facilitate support and co-ordinate access to information, other resources, groups and services that will provide children and young people with a quality experience throughout their contact with Stockport Without Abuse.
