Job Vacancy – Child and Adolescent Outreach Worker – Rising Sun Domestic Violence and Abuse Service – Kent

Salary: £22,309 – £25,496 pa pro rata, depending on experience


Hours: 3 days Part Time (22.5 hours a week)


Location: Guiding Lights, Folkestone, Ashford and Canterbury, Kent


Contract: Fixed term until October 2024, with the possibility of extension

About the Group:

The Rising Sun Domestic Violence and Abuse Service is a registered charity supporting women and children affected by domestic violence in Canterbury and East Kent.

We support our users through every step of removing abuse from their lives and improving their safety.

Job purpose:

The Child and Adolescent outreach worker will work within the CYP team to deliver services relating to children and young people affected by Domestic violence and Abuse.

They will lead on a programme delivering groups in schools to adolescents, as well as holding a small caseload for direct 1-1 work with young people. Responsibilities will include recording of data, reporting and completing evaluations.

The outreach worker will be expected to promote the work of the Rising Sun and take a share of responsibility in delivering or assisting with any work within the organisation.

This is a Women Only position which is subject to satisfactory references and enhanced DBS check
