Stockport Without Abuse (SWA) is a grassroots charity committed to supporting our vision of everyone having a right to live in safety, and to have a future without fear of domestic abuse. We work directly with women, men and children who have experienced or are at risk of domestic abuse. We are seeking a highly experienced Housekeeper who can demonstrate pride in their work and is trained to COSHH standards.

Main purpose of the post:
You will be responsible for the overall standard of presentation of the accommodation and our office areas at Stockport Without Abuse. This includes our refuge accommodation in community locations and our offices where staff are based. You will ensure that the highest quality in terms of cleanliness and presentation are achieved and be able to take pride in the contribution you make to the services.

You will undertake a range of cleaning duties throughout the main refuge, communal and staffing areas. The Housekeeping role also requires the cleaning of the individual accommodation units and dispersed properties when families move out, in preparation for new arrivals. You will have the
opportunity to enhance the presentation of the accommodation and office areas and work closely with the Refuge Team.
