Job Title: Moving On Domestic Abuse Advisor
Salary/ Rate: £23,541 FTE, rising by 4% to £24,482 upon passing of 6-month probation
Location: Stockport

Hours: 37 hours per week
Stockport Without Abuse (SWA) is a grassroots charity committed to supporting our vision of everyone having a right to live in safety, and to have a future without fear of domestic abuse. We work directly with women, men and children who have experienced or are at risk of domestic abuse.
We are looking to recruit a full-time Moving On Domestic Abuse Advisor (MODAA) to join our new and growing Moving On team, to support individuals moving on from high risk relationships.
Main purpose of the post:
• Deliver programmes to provide support and empower victims to build and maintain their resilience and confidence;
• Work holistically with individuals, making interventions to help build upon existing strengths and support networks to enhance resilience, develop self-esteem and minimise the threat of harm to the individuals or others;
• Support individuals moving on from a high risk relationship and remaining in their own home, or moving on from emergency accommodation;
• Work toward achieving key performance indicators and outcomes.
