LGBT Foundation is looking for an excellent communicator with a keen eye for detail… We are looking for a dynamic, pragmatic and inspiring people person to become our next Domestic Abuse Officer.


LGBT Foundation is looking for a Domestic Abuse Officer to join our LGBT+ specific Domestic Abuse project. The Domestic Abuse Officer for Outreach and Resettlement will provide a coordinated package of support to LGBT+ people affected by Domestic Abuse, who:

  • Are in need of emotional support and practical advice;
  • Are in need of emergency housing, including dispersed accommodation;
  • Require support to establish and maintain longer-term housing options after moving from emergency accommodation;
  • Are already living in the community and require accommodation support.

The Officer will support a caseload of clients in dispersed accommodation who require ongoing practical advice and resettlement support. The officer will support work with existing Domestic Abuse services to increase awareness of LGBT+ people’s experiences and needs, through partnership working and networking.

We particularly welcome applicants who identify as a Person of Colour, trans and/or that people aged 50+ as staff from these backgrounds are currently underrepresented in our organisation.
