Salary/ Rate: £30,000 per annum, with a 4% rise upon successful completion of probation

Hours: FT role – 37 hours per week

Stockport Without Abuse (SWA) is a grassroots charity committed to supporting our vision of everyone having a right to live in safety, and to have a future without fear of domestic abuse. We work directly with women, men and children who have experienced or are at risk of domestic abuse.

We are looking to recruit an Operations Manager to work closely with our CEO and join our Leadership team, to lead and secure Stockport Without Abuse’s operational delivery across three areas: high-risk IDVAs, community-based domestic abuse services, and Refuge safe accommodation
services. They will also be responsible for the management and development of the Leadership team, and lead the ‘out of hours’ duty rota for the safe accommodation service.

Main purpose of the post:
• Supporting the operational development and transformation of Stockport Without Abuse, in addition to driving forward operational excellence and delivery of services that are high quality, sustainable and value for money.
• Manage safeguarding and risk management across the service, and provide high quality relevant reports for the CEO for various purposes.
• Be a lead ambassador for the service, showcasing and championing the work of Stockport Without Abuse as a key communicator to a wide audience of partners, potential funding bodies, key professionals, commissioners and other stakeholders.
