Event – UCLan – Male Psychology Section Conference

Date: 20th-21st June, 2022

This will be our first in person conference event since we were established as a formal BPS section.

It will provide an important opportunity for psychologists, academics, students and all those interested in male psychology to come together to share knowledge and network.

It will include session and keynote speakers that are publishing high impact research around issues affecting men and boys.

The theme for our 2022 conference is exploring issues that affect men and boys across the lifespan – from the cradle to the grave.

The conference programme will feature keynote speakers, research sessions and workshops from across the lifespan. There will be sessions looking at key issues such as: domestic violence and abuse, education, mental and physical health and much more across a range of the lifespan stages, including (but not limited to):

  • Prenatal
  • Early years
  • Adolescence
  • Young adulthood
  • Parenting
  • Retirement

We hope you will join us for our first in person event as a new BPS section!
