Salary/ Rate: NJC P01: £31,895- £34,373 FTE
Location: Based across Trafford

Background

Trafford Domestic Abuse Services (TDAS) is a Quality accredited, registered charity offering support to individuals and families who are affected by domestic abuse since 1990. We support families who live/work in the Trafford area and also provide IDVA and Children and Young People (CYP) support services in Salford. We provide both intervention and prevention services and work in partnership with other voluntary organisations to support families across Greater Manchester.

Purpose of the role

To be accountable for the overall quality and delivery of the Community service provided by TDAS. They will manage all aspects of the service ensuring that the service is meeting funding and contractual requirements, is fully maintained in an efficient and a professional manner and that all reporting and consultation, both internally and externally is carried out in a timely and effective way. They will do this through your active participation in the work of the team and by overseeing/providing the induction, supervision, guidance, support and direction to your team members. They will influence the strategic development of community services in conjunction with the Director of Operations.

They will lead, manage and supervise a skilled, multi-disciplinary staff team and must be flexible, approachable and highly motivated in supporting and encouraging each individual staff member.

Application Criteria and Process

To apply for this position it is essential that you have a domestic abuse/social care qualification or equivalent and have substantial management experience.

You must also have minimum of 2 years experience of working with adults in crisis and knowledge and understanding of the effects of domestic abuse on adults, children and young people.

It is essential that you have an up to date knowledge of Child Protection and adults Safeguarding.
