‘Healthy Relationships MATTA’ is part of the WomenMATTA project which recognises the specific needs and vulnerabilities of women in the criminal justice system who are experiencing domestic abuse.

This role will involve providing advocacy, support and advice to women involved in, or at risk of involvement in, the criminal justice system who are or who have experienced domestic abuse. Responsive to the individual needs of women, you will develop individual support plans that address domestic abuse, mental health, housing, substance misuse, financial and other identified needs. You will also develop and facilitate structured group work that will enable women to develop a greater understanding of domestic abuse and healthy relationships, and build self-confidence/self-esteem. With extensive experience of supporting vulnerable women with a range of complex needs, you will also have experience of undertaking detailed needs/risk assessments.
