Forty Second Street (42nd Street)

Forty Second Street (42nd Street) is a community mental health resource for young people, in Manchester, Salford and Trafford. There are a number of services that young people can use and a range of projects to get involved in. These include: the Children and Young Peoples Project for young people who are experiencing stress. Young people come to get support about all kinds of things that leave them stressed and unable to cope. This project offers counselling, individual support and advice to young people. Every young person who is thinking about using 42nd Street services is invited to an initial meeting where they can meet with a worker and spend some time finding out more about 42nd Street as well as having an opportunity to talk about what has been causing the stress and difficulty in their life. If we cannot offer the right service for your needs we will do our best to signpost on to other support services.
