Manchester's vision is of a city where abuse is not tolerated
and many local organisations are working together to achieve this
aim. They have formed the Manchester Domestic Abuse Management Group,
which is working to:
- support and protect adult survivors of domestic abuse
- support and protect children affected by domestic abuse
- deal with perpetrators of domestic abuse and
- prevent domestic abuse in the future
The work is organised through five sub-groups - Communications,
Accommodation and Support Services, Civil and Criminal Justice,
Children and Young People and Training. The following agencies are
represented on these groups:
