Children’s Sexual Assault Referral Centre
Created by Manchesters St Marys Sexual Assault Referral Centre this centre provides a service to children who have been raped or sexually abused. The centre provides a child-centred environment that will minimise the trauma and distress caused to the child, ensure support services are working together and provide fast and accurate evidence to the police if legal action is taken. On-going support, advice and monitoring also forms a central part of the service to ensure that young victims have access to relevant services for as long as is required.
