Job Title: VAWG Advocacy Worker
Salary/ Rate: £15,600 per annum
Location: Rochdale

Hours: 25 hours/week Monday – Thursday

Rochdale Women’s Welfare is a Specialist Support Services are seeking to engage a creative, dedicated and multilingual (ideally Urdu/Punjabi or Urdu/Bengali) VAWG Advocacy Worker.

You will provide high quality multi-lingual information, advice, support and advocacy work on all forms of gender based violence as well as forced marriage, honour-based crimes and related issues. Your casework will focus on women with complex needs, and most of the caseload will be in support of multi-lingual women.

You must be able to demonstrate strong casework management skills, good written and verbal communication along with direct experience of providing support to women.
