Domestic Violence Prevention Programme Facilitator

Job Title: Female Domestic Violence Prevention Programme Facilitator

Hours: 20-25 hours per week on average

Salary: £13.19 per hour (based on a full-time salary of £25,378)

Location: Salford and Trafford with extension to Greater Manchester

Accountable: TLC Head of Domestic Abuse Services

Contract: Permanent

Job Purpose: To undertake individual sessions and group-work with men who are participating in Bridging to Change Domestic Violence Prevention Programme (DVPP) in Salford and Trafford but with the possibility of extension to other areas within Greater Manchester, to work with men who recognise that their behaviours are abusive and want to engage with long term behaviour change programme; to work with men on an individual basis, conducting assessments, risk assessments, safety planning and implementing strategies; working with men in a co-gendered facilitation team delivering group work; actively contribute to risk management procedures; report writing; interagency/partnership working with a range of agencies and team working.
