Key messages :

· The Fund will be supporting good current projects and new work which support women and girls to be in the lead and which increase the provision of integrated, person-centred approaches for women and girls at risk
· In a time of increased need by women and girls experiencing issues such as domestic violence, sexual grooming/exploitation and mental health, support services Big Lottery Fund is responding with £48.5 million which will support women and girls experiencing issues such as domestic violence, sexual grooming/exploitation and mental health.
· Women will be at the centre of our decisions on where funding goes and the projects we fund. Women involved in our consultation fed back to us that they found there was little provision for a safe environment for women’s only support when seeking help on wider issues such homelessness, addiction and mental health
· Projects will include women’s refuges, outreach support, access to support and prevention projects, perpetrator programmes, or access to professionals such as independent domestic advisers/advocates.
